Global Analytical System for Luxury Vehicle Dealers

The Automotive Industry customer chose ScienceSoft as a technical consultant to create an analytical system with rich reporting for internal use by car manufacturers and dealer networks. The system needed to cover automobile sales and services, spare parts tracking, and financial analysis, and it also had to support a multilingual interface for international users.

ScienceSoft built an ETL-based data warehouse with a staging area, four data marts, and four multidimensional Microsoft cubes for vehicles, spare parts, service, and finance. It also developed integration modules, over 40 customizable reports, and interactive dashboards available through SQL Server Reporting Services in SharePoint and PowerPivot in Excel. The system supports three languages, passed all tests in the customer environment, and is now being used by a large automobile dealer.
