Full-Range Testing for a Global Mobile Broadband Solutions Provider

Norwegian Company, a provider of wireless and cellular solutions for telecom operators around the globe, turned to ScienceSoft for custom adaptation of its built-in software for managing 3G/Wi-Fi connection for mobile broadband subscribers in Southeast Asia. The main challenge was to test the application’s handover between 3G and Wi-Fi networks in real time and remotely, since a local test environment could not be set up.

ScienceSoft’s testing team handled test design, test documentation, functional and regressive testing, localization testing, firmware build preparation for USB dongles, and remote testing. The team detected and successfully fixed significant issues with the application’s security and functionality, and remote testing with real devices in the real network environment enabled results in real time. Multiple custom versions of the basic application were successfully released for mobile operators in Europe and Asia.
