US Leading Health Information Exchange, a US leading health information exchange vendor, needed a way to aggregate patient data from multiple healthcare providers, add risk management capabilities, and set role-based access controls for reports and dashboards. ScienceSoft was brought in to deliver the BI implementation using Microsoft SQL Server technologies.

ScienceSoft built a data warehouse from scratch with Microsoft SQL Server, used SQL Server Integration Services for ETL, created two analytical cubes with SQL Server Analysis Services, and delivered Kyubit BI reports and dashboards for registered events, demographics, problems and medications, and prevention. The result was a flexible BI solution with security levels for all data, organization, community, and personal access, giving healthcare providers information to analyze trends and reduce event risk.
