AES File Security Software for MacOS reaches 20 million downloads with ScienceSoft

ScienceSoft's customer, a Sweden-based IT company specializing in file security software, faced the challenge of expanding its product line to include a MacOS version of its Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) solution. This was necessary to reach a wider audience, as the company already had a Windows desktop app and mobile versions for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone developed by ScienceSoft.

Using Xamarin and .NET, ScienceSoft recreated the application for MacOS. Despite an inverted development workflow where the UI was finalized after development began, ScienceSoft successfully met all deadlines and quality standards. The results satisfied the client, leading to plans for further collaboration with ScienceSoft to enhance their mobile apps' functionality.
