ScienceSoft was engaged by a wireless telecom provider with over 4 million subscribers to deploy and configure IBM QRadar SIEM. The customer needed to ensure permanent monitoring and analysis of user activities within their growing corporate systems but required assistance with the deployment and customization of the chosen SIEM solution for their specific IT environment.

The solution implemented by ScienceSoft involved a two-stage project to deploy QRadar and develop custom integrations for unsupported log sources, including 10 uDSMs and 13 log source extensions. The results provided the telecom provider with a full-fledged SIEM system that processes over 940 unique audit events, ensures constant monitoring, and effectively distinguishes real offenses from false positives.
