The customer is a U.S. non-profit electric system operator that manages a large electrical grid. To enhance the security of its extensive network, the customer purchased two IBM QRadar consoles but faced potential risks of performance issues and security event omission. Seeking to maximize their return on investment and boost network protection, the customer's security department decided to use ScienceSoft's QLean tool for QRadar.

ScienceSoft provided a license for a two-week trial of QLean, which generated a Health Check report that identified several performance and configuration issues. Based on this report, ScienceSoft's consultants outlined the key problems. The positive trial experience convinced the customer to purchase two full licenses. Furthermore, ScienceSoft will provide 12 months of support, including two custom features to improve log source monitoring.
