The customer, a European non-profit organization, faced challenges with its outdated mobile math training applications for children. The apps, built on an unsupported framework, suffered from slow performance, high Azure maintenance costs, and a lack of key functionality. ScienceSoft was commissioned to perform an application modernization to address these issues.

ScienceSoft migrated the apps to Apache Cordova, optimized the code and databases, and added new features like the ability to reassign pupils. They also automated deployment with Azure DevOps. As a result, the applications now support the latest OS versions, perform faster, and the client achieved a 4x decrease in maintenance costs.
