University College London - Customer Case Study

University College London (UCL) is London’s leading multidisciplinary university, and it needed a better way to drive adoption of procurement systems across its diverse academic user base while reducing order-processing costs, improving access to preferred supplier deals, enabling more suppliers, and supporting an end-to-end procure-to-pay process. UCL implemented Science Warehouse’s eProcurement solution, integrated with its Oracle iProcurement application, to address these procurement challenges.

Science Warehouse rolled out a single punch-out connection across UCL, giving users access to all supplier catalogues plus a unified interface for approved purchase orders, eInvoices, catalogue and pricing control, and reporting via eReports. The solution helped UCL generate over £3m in efficiencies in 2013, and more than 60,000 electronic invoices were processed through the system that year, delivering significant cost and process savings.
