Palais Garnier digitizes 1,900 tons of steel with SCIA
The customer, Palais Garnier (Paris National Opera), required a structural diagnosis of its historic stage cage to evaluate potential operating overloads. The vendor, SCIA, provided its SCIA Engineer software to the engineering firm Duberseuil & Cie to undertake this assessment.
Using SCIA Engineer, Duberseuil & Cie created a model of the 1,900-ton steel structure from scanned data. The solution's integrated automation and smooth import of DWG files saved significant time.
