Baldinistudio streamlines BIM collaboration with SCIA and closes the BIM loop

Baldinistudio, an ALLPLAN Authorized Partner, utilized SCIA's software, including SCIA Engineer and the AutoConverter tool, to tackle the challenge of a complex mixed-use building project in Kutina, Croatia. The project required seamless collaboration between architectural design and structural engineering using an OPEN BIM workflow to integrate a contemporary commercial space into a traditional neighborhood without disrupting its character.

SCIA's solution centered on an integrated OPEN BIM process using SCIA Engineer, AutoConverter, and the BIMPLUS platform. This enabled a seamless data round-trip from architectural design through structural analysis to automated reinforcement detailing. The result was a highly efficient workflow that minimized errors, saved significant time in model conversion and reinforcement design, and supported the delivery of an award-winning building that earned the Big SEE Architecture Award 2024.
