The customer, Allcons Industry S.r.o., an engineering company, faced the challenge of designing a large-scale system to reduce SOx emissions, which involved coordinating the design of large ducts and support structures with other professions. Using SCIA Engineer, they needed to create a complex model to check for collisions and ensure the feasibility of the integrated design.

SCIA implemented a solution using SCIA Engineer to create one complex model that integrated various construction parts, including 1D and 2D members and non-linear supports. This allowed for essential BIM collaboration, the inclusion of a 3D laser scan, and analysis according to Eurocodes. The result was a successfully coordinated design where collisions were checked and feasibility was ensured for one of the biggest industrial projects of its kind in the region, significantly improving environmental conditions by reducing emissions.
