University of Notre Dame expands from 4 kV to 12 kV with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories

The University of Notre Dame needed to expand its campus power grid from an older 4 kV system to a new 12 kV system. This expansion created a challenge to tie the new and old systems together and manage the load balance across campus to prevent blackouts.
