Montverde Standardizes Educational Experience with Schoology

Montverde Academy, a private K3–12 college-preparatory school of about 400 students, faced growing technology demands as it expanded its iPad 1-to-1 program. After self-hosting Moodle and later switching to Blackbaud’s OnCampus, teachers and students experienced usability problems, lost materials, app crashes, and cumbersome grading workflows—prompting the Director of Technology to look for a hosted, easy-to-use LMS that would work for teachers, parents, and students.

Mid-year they moved to Schoology Enterprise, leveraging teachers’ prior experience with its free edition and Schoology’s implementation team to complete the migration in two weeks. The result was a single intuitive hub for assignments, grading, communication and parent access, native iOS support and Notability integration for the iPad program, faster grading workflows, and increased teacher confidence and adoption across all grades.
