KIPP Bay Area Schools, an 11-school network serving 3,800+ students in the Bay Area, was overwhelmed by a paper-based enrollment process that generated more than 150,000 sheets a year from over 5,000 applicants. To reduce paperwork and administrative burden, KIPP turned to SchoolMint for an online enrollment platform that could streamline registration and improve data access.

SchoolMint deployed its online enrollment solution—including an Administrative Portal for real-time enrollment and demographic data and a Communications Portal for automated texts, emails, and calls—making admissions paperless and automating waitlist and status management. The result: staff can track applicant status and request missing information immediately, parent communication is automated and personalized, over 150,000 sheets of paper a year were eliminated, and KIPP regained time to focus on student success (86% of students continue to college).
