Blackstone Valley Prep (BVP) is a Mayoral Academy serving four distinct sending districts in Rhode Island and faced the challenge of recruiting and enrolling an intentionally diverse student body while managing a weighted lottery, equal seat allocations, transportation logistics, and significant access barriers for lower-income families. To address these issues BVP needed an enrollment system that could support weighted preferences (including ensuring at least 50% FRPL), mobile access, multilingual communication, and outreach tools to reach families with limited internet access — capabilities they sought through SchoolMint’s enrollment automation.
