A SchoolMint Case Study
Achievement First, a network of over 30 charter schools serving about 10,000 students across New York, Rhode Island and Connecticut, struggled to manage multi-school waitlists, sibling priority rules and enrollment visibility once individual roster spreadsheets were distributed. To solve this, Achievement First partnered with SchoolMint to centralize application intake and lottery management and to handle waitlist notifications and registration workflows.
SchoolMint implemented a shared workflow where network support runs lotteries, enters applications and mails waitlist notifications while schools manage family-level decisions like sibling priorities and offers; AF also uses SchoolMint registration packets and is piloting student enrollment features. The result is instant lottery notifications with acceptances arriving within minutes, an up-to-the-minute view across the 24 schools using the system, and improved ability for Achievement First to monitor and boost enrollment conversions across its 30-school network.
