Bunker Hill CUSD 8, a small district, sought to shift its culture from focusing solely on graduation to preparing students for long-term success in their postsecondary lives, whether in college, a career, or the military. Superintendent Todd Dugan wanted to expand these crucial conversations beyond seniors to include underclassmen and even elementary students.

The district implemented SchooLinks, an all-in-one college and career readiness platform. The solution helped build a districtwide culture of readiness by getting students to think about and revise their goals early. As a result, Bunker Hill saw a powerful shift in how students and staff approach the future, leading to more intentional and supported postsecondary paths for every student.
