Sheldon College streamlines Years 1–12 reporting with Schoolbox and a 5-point scale

Sheldon College faced a challenge with its traditional reporting system, which only captured student learning after it had happened. The college wanted to implement a system of continuous feedback to provide students, teachers, and families with more timely and actionable insights during the learning process. This led them to partner with vendor Schoolbox to rethink their approach to assessment and reporting.

Schoolbox supported the college in digitizing a newly developed, consistent five-point assessment scale and rubrics for use across all year levels. This solution gave teachers more time for learning by progressively building report data throughout the term and enabled richer feedback conversations closer to the point of learning. For Sheldon College, the implementation by Schoolbox created a common language for progress across the college and successfully integrated feedback directly into the learning process itself.
