DigiPlex, a leading Nordic colocation provider operating the Oslo Ulven facility, faced the twin challenges of high power consumption and ambitious sustainability targets while needing to preserve 100% uptime for customers. To meet growth and environmental goals, DigiPlex partnered with Schneider Electric and adopted its EcoStruxure approach, including the Galaxy VX UPS and other connected products.

Schneider Electric deployed EcoStruxure-connected solutions—Galaxy VX UPS (with ECOnversion mode and long‑life lithium‑ion batteries), Uniflair chillers, and Masterpact MTZ breakers—delivering modular capacity and tighter efficiency controls. The result: ECOnversion operates at about 98% efficiency (≈2% better than the nearest competitor), a 4% improvement in overall energy efficiency that reduced OpEx, space savings that avoided a new build, and lower battery waste—demonstrating measurable sustainability and operational gains from Schneider Electric’s solution.
