Case Study: Mainfreight achieves scalable, future-ready data centers with Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure in just 12 weeks

A Schneider Electric Case Study

Preview of the Mainfreight Case Study

How scalable data centers connect a global logistics giant from the core to the edge

Mainfreight, a global logistics provider with 239 branches across 21 countries and a long-term “100-year vision,” needed an easy-to-manage, state-of-the-art data center to support rapid growth and meet a tight three-month delivery window. They engaged Schneider Electric and its EcoStruxure for Data Centers portfolio — including EcoStruxure IT, Symmetra UPS, InRow cooling, NetShelter SX racks and PDUs — to modernize and future-proof their infrastructure.

Schneider Electric deployed a modular, scalable EcoStruxure data center in Hamilton, New Zealand in under 12 weeks, delivering expandable UPS, power and cooling and an on‑premise EcoStruxure IT DCIM that provides analytics and remote visibility. The solution gave Mainfreight the flexibility to grow (add batteries, expand power/cooling), improved monitoring and management of remote sites, and enabled new data-driven services — all measurable outcomes that support the company’s global expansion ambitions.
