A Schneider Electric Case Study
Marriott’s Renaissance Suzhou Wujiang Hotel in Suzhou, China needed to maintain exceptional guest comfort, ambiance and safety while controlling construction and ongoing operating costs and meeting annual energy‑savings targets. To address these challenges the hotel partnered with Schneider Electric and adopted its EcoStruxure for Hotels technology, including building management, lighting control and electrical distribution solutions.
Schneider Electric implemented an integrated EcoStruxure solution—combining EcoStruxure Building Management, lighting controls, variable speed drives and MV/LV distribution—to centralize monitoring and automate HVAC, lighting and power systems. The deployment delivered measurable results: 10–15% energy savings, full visibility into energy consumption, centralized control of systems and devices, and reduced operational expenses through improved energy efficiency and maintenance optimization.
