How EcoStruxure for Hotels increases efficiency and guest comfort

Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall of the Emirates — the largest Hilton Garden Inn outside the U.S. — needed to deliver an affordable four‑star experience in Dubai while meeting tight development timelines, strict sustainability targets, and keeping operational and energy costs low without sacrificing guest comfort. To meet these challenges Hilton partnered with Schneider Electric and deployed EcoStruxure™ for Hotels, including EcoStruxure™ Building Operation and EcoStruxure™ Guest Room Expert, to integrate building, guest-room and property management systems.

Schneider Electric implemented an integrated BMS/GRMS/PMS platform with SE8000 room controllers, occupancy‑based temperature and lighting controls, and remote monitoring and maintenance tools; the result was LEED Gold certification, the hotel opening ahead of schedule, guest satisfaction well above benchmark, and substantial energy and operational gains. Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure solution enables occupancy‑based energy management (automated savings of 25–44% are achievable per the product), optimized solar/gas water heating, centralized oversight and proactive maintenance — lowering energy costs while preserving guest comfort.
