A Schneider Electric Case Study

Preview of the Samwoh Corporation Case Study

How a leading construction company leverages EcoStruxure™ to pioneer Singapore’s first positive-energy industrial building

Samwoh Corporation, a leading Singapore construction and engineering firm, consolidated five sites into the new “Samwoh Smart Hub” with the ambition to become Singapore’s first positive‑energy industrial building and support the nation’s “80‑80‑80 in 2030” sustainability goals. To optimise energy use, future‑proof operations, and add smart, efficient features, Samwoh partnered with Schneider Electric and its EcoStruxure platform for building management and connected infrastructure.

Schneider Electric implemented EcoStruxure Building Operation along with connected products—PowerLogic PowerTags and meters, MasterPact MTZ and ComPacT NSX breakers, SpaceLogic Automation Server, and EVlink Smart Wallbox—to provide real‑time monitoring, control and smart EV charging. The solution delivered up to 50% savings in annual utility costs, an Energy Efficiency Index below 60 kWh/m2/year, returned at least 25% of the facility’s solar output (from 2,588 panels) to the grid, and helped Samwoh secure the BCA Green Mark Platinum (Positive Energy) certification.
