The Government of Uttarakhand needed a resilient state data center to deliver an e‑governance platform across difficult, mountainous terrain and to expand capacity for Dehradun Smart City applications. To ensure continuous connectivity, high availability and scalable infrastructure, the Government of Uttarakhand engaged Schneider Electric and selected its EcoStruxure IT solution and EcoStruxure Pod Data Center offerings.

Schneider Electric implemented EcoStruxure IT — Asset Advisor for real‑time monitoring and centralised services, plus an EcoStruxure Pod Data Center with APC Symmetra UPS, in‑row hot‑aisle containment cooling, managed rack PDUs and NetBotz monitoring. As a result, the state achieved up to 99.99% data center uptime and 24/7 citizen connectivity, enabling proactive services, faster backend processing, improved transparency and reliable e‑governance delivery.
