CVC Teams up with Schneider Electric for Digital Transformation

CVC Technologies, Inc., a Taichung, Taiwan–based pharmaceutical packaging machine manufacturer, needed to introduce digitization to reduce downtime, minimize human error, and provide fast, reliable remote support for customers—needs made more urgent by COVID-19. To achieve this, CVC partnered with Schneider Electric and adopted EcoStruxure solutions including EcoStruxure Augmented Operator Advisor, Modicon M262 PLC, EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert and Lexium 32 Servo.

Schneider Electric implemented the EcoStruxure stack: AOA for AR-guided, contactless real‑time diagnosis and remote support; Modicon M262 and Lexium 32 for IIoT-enabled, synchronized motion and cloud connectivity; and EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert for line management. The deployment delivered 100% digitized machines, faster troubleshooting and maintenance, reduced human error, improved safety and uptime, increased production efficiency and helped CVC open a new liquid‑filling product line.
