Better remote management and customer service of pollution reduction systems, with EcoStruxure Machine

NIT Korea, a South Korean maker of industrial air purification systems and electrostatic precipitators, needed a way to move from reactive to predictive maintenance and to remotely manage dust-collection machines across diverse sites. The company lacked sufficient operational data and faced high costs from routine onsite service visits, so it partnered with Schneider Electric to explore a cloud-based remote monitoring solution using EcoStruxure Machine and EcoStruxure Machine Advisor.

Schneider Electric delivered a complete EcoStruxure Machine solution (including Modicon M172, Altivar ATV212 drives, Harmony HMI, meters and EcoStruxure Machine Expert software) implemented with partner ENES and monitored via EcoStruxure Machine Advisor. The deployment enabled 24/7 remote monitoring and predictive maintenance, supported NIT Korea’s TESLA E.M.A service platform, reduced investment and workforce requirements by 20%, increased operational efficiency, and created a new remotely serviced business model with full engineering and ongoing technical support from Schneider Electric.
