Aspiria, a 200‑acre, mixed‑use innovation campus in Overland Park, Kansas, needed to cut energy use and operating costs, shrink its carbon footprint, and maintain occupant comfort across more than 4 million sq ft and 5,000+ assets with a relatively small maintenance team. To tackle this, Aspiria partnered with Schneider Electric and EcoXpert partner C&C Group to deploy Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure solutions, including EcoStruxure Building Operation, EcoStruxure Building Advisor and EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert.

Schneider Electric modernized the campus BMS, centralized real‑time energy and power monitoring, and enabled data‑driven, proactive maintenance. The implementation delivered a sub‑2‑year ROI with a 16% reduction in annual energy use (about $1.5M saved per year), a 36% reduction in carbon footprint (≈10,428 tons/5M kWh), roughly $700k in annual labor savings, 0% major equipment downtime, and a 65% drop in temperature complaints—improving tenant comfort, operational efficiency and sustainability across the campus.
