Almaty Arena, a 12,000‑seat multi‑event venue, needed a world‑class building management system to customise HVAC, lighting and other systems for ice and entertainment events, aggregate data into actionable metrics, and cut operational and labour costs. To meet this challenge the arena partnered with Monicon, a Schneider EcoXpert™, and selected Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Building Operation platform with SmartX Edge Servers and connected power and protection products.

Schneider Electric implemented a cohesive EcoStruxure Building solution that provides 24/7 mobile access, qualitative performance indicators, and centralized visibility and control of key systems such as refrigeration, smoke removal and Freon detection. The result: streamlined, high‑performance energy and facility management, lower human‑error risk and expenses, reduced facility labour costs, and the ability for a single operator to control the entire arena from a mobile device.
