On the way from batch operation to Omni-channel commerce

Welkoop is a Dutch specialist retailer for garden and pet products with over 150 stores and 1,500 employees. The company needed to move from batch-driven processes to real‑time omni-channel commerce, replacing more than 40 point‑to‑point ERP integrations. Projects were slow and costly because integration know‑how rested with external providers and interfaces were poorly documented.

Welkoop implemented the model‑based E2E BRIDGE integration platform (and Salesforce for CRM), centralizing connections, adding templates and libraries, and enabling continuous monitoring. Internal IT now builds and troubleshoots integrations independently—interfaces were delivered in under two weeks (a task expected to take two months) and a new POS linked to Oracle in four hours—delivering transparent, up‑to‑date data across channels and a seamless customer experience.
