Geauga Public Library System, which operates seven branches in Geauga County, Ohio plus a Mobile Service fleet, struggled with manually created paper schedules. Managers found it hard to track who was scheduled across multiple locations and departments, employees had to be onsite to see updates, and the system kept no electronic history—creating miscommunications, coverage gaps and punch-time problems.
The library implemented ScheduleAnywhere to eliminate paper schedules and provide real-time, shareable schedules and a mobile app. Supervisors can view and share schedules across locations, filter by skills/certifications, fill open shifts quickly, and retain electronic schedule history—reducing double‑booking, improving coverage and making shift swaps and staffing more efficient.
