How STEMxYouth Summit Doubled Attendance Of The Student-Run Event

Marymount School of New York, a private K-12 school, needed to transform its annual student-run STEMxYouth Summit from an in-person event into a successful virtual conference. The challenge was to find a platform that could facilitate this transition while enabling high school students to act as project managers and bring their concepts to life.

Using the event management platform Sched, the school integrated Eventbrite for registration and managed Zoom access for all sessions. The solution provided by Sched allowed the student coordinators to run the entire six-hour event seamlessly. The results were significant; the summit doubled its attendance from the previous year, attracted a more diverse group of speakers from across the United States, and featured high-profile keynotes, all while keeping costs manageable for the school.
