A Sched Case Study
The Education and Business Summit, a targeted event for Career and Technical Education teachers in South Carolina, needed a better way to run a 900-person conference when it was forced to move from in-person to fully virtual in just six weeks. Sched was originally intended to supplement the printed program, but the organizers needed a single hub to manage schedules, session details, Zoom links, attendance tracking, and last-minute communication.
Sched provided the conference website and scheduling platform that housed the full agenda, presentation descriptions, Zoom access links, and Google Forms for attendance, while also allowing presenters to upload slides and handouts. The result was a smoother virtual event and a resource center that continued to support attendees afterward through archived materials and attendance reports, which the Education and Business Summit used to inform future professional development planning.
