Scandlines, which operates two high-capacity ferry routes between Denmark and Germany with a strong green vision, faced inefficient sourcing practices that caused delays, limited competition, poor data transparency and processing, and a lack of project alignment and visibility for senior management.
To fix this, Scandlines implemented an “eSource” process using Scanmarket’s eSourcing platform (Project Management, Supply Base Management, eRFx and eAuction) plus training and executive support.
