Starbucks partnered with Scanbuy to help promote its new line of signature roasts and make it easier for customers to learn about the different flavors of bagged coffee. The goal was to encourage engagement around identifying “the roast they love the most” while providing useful product information to support purchase decisions.

Scanbuy’s ScanLife QR code solution was placed on millions of coffee bags, linking shoppers to product videos and brewing demos like “How to Brew Coffee.” Scanbuy also distributed branded bookmarks near Starbucks locations so customers could scan, vote, and share their favorite roast, resulting in over 50,000 votes from the mobile site alone.
