Scanbuy placed QR Codes on cups and at 7-Eleven locations across the United States, using the ScanLife OS Detection Code to route iPhone users to an exclusive app download and others to a campaign video. The approach generated additional buzz from blogs and media outlets and led to tens of thousands of mobile app downloads.
