The Cross Product - Customer Case Study

The Cross Product, a SaaS company providing automated 3D data analysis for large-scale infrastructure, faced the challenge of ensuring the correct execution of its high-memory, long-running computations while guaranteeing data availability and optimizing storage costs. They partnered with European cloud provider Scaleway to build a reliable and cost-effective solution using their Object Storage and Databases.

Scaleway implemented a custom orchestrator for The Cross Product using a producer/consumer model powered by Scaleway's NATS Jetstream. This solution provided fine-tuned control over computation instances, significantly reducing costs. The results over six months were substantial, including processing 800 new kilometers of infrastructure data, generating €160k in income, and onboarding 10 new corporate customers.
