Kamaé, a company that provides a gamified cybersecurity awareness platform, faced a significant challenge ensuring the security, scalability, and availability of its infrastructure ahead of a major traffic surge for its Cyber Month event and a new contract with a large insurer. To address this, the customer evaluated French cloud providers and chose to use Scaleway for its solutions including Containers and VPC.

Scaleway implemented a solution using Kubernetes (Kapsule) for application deployment and managed MySQL databases within a secure VPC, with the entire infrastructure managed via Terraform. This migration resulted in a significant increase in performance and availability, successfully supporting over 200,000 microlearnings and 10,000 fake phishing emails during Cyber Month with zero downtime or performance degradation.
