Jamespot - Customer Case Study

Jamespot, a SaaS provider of collaborative and social solutions, was challenged by the high demand on its platform. Its monolithic, VM-based architecture could not guarantee the quality of service or scalability needed to handle huge user variations and very large client networks. The company needed a cloud-agnostic infrastructure for better scalability, high data availability, and easy migration between providers. This led them to partner with cloud vendor Scaleway.

To solve this, Jamespot adopted a multi-cloud strategy, breaking its monolith into microservices orchestrated with Kubernetes. Scaleway’s managed Kubernetes offering, Kapsule, allowed for seamless deployment of new services, while their Kosmos product was used to manage nodes across multiple cloud providers for high availability. As a result, Jamespot can now effortlessly manage workload peaks for over 500,000 users and ensure high data availability for its 300 clients. The collaboration with Scaleway, supported by efficient technical assistance, has positioned Jamespot to continue innovating with a resilient, multi-provider architecture.
