IDOL, a global independent digital music distributor, faced the challenge of scaling its infrastructure to support its growth while maintaining a redundant and cost-effective multi-cloud approach. They sought a reliable cloud partner to work alongside their existing Google Cloud Platform services, leading them to vendor Scaleway and its cloud products, including Containers and Object Storage.

The solution involved a migration to Scaleway Elements, where IDOL implemented a Kubernetes-based infrastructure, managed databases, and Object Storage for assets. This integration provided a seamless multi-cloud environment with APIs compatible with GCP, allowing for simultaneous deployments without code changes. The results included a highly scalable and redundant infrastructure with fast network routes for efficient data migration. According to their CTO, IDOL is very satisfied with Scaleway's reliability, service, and the privileged relationships with its teams.
