Geovelo, a GPS navigation platform for cyclists, needed a powerful and scalable infrastructure to support its route-finding algorithms and manage seasonal traffic peaks from its users. Scaleway provided a comprehensive cloud solution, migrating the majority of Geovelo's infrastructure to its Elements ecosystem, including the Kapsule Kubernetes service, managed PostgreSQL databases, and Scaleway Registry. This allowed Geovelo to scale dynamically with traffic patterns and efficiently run its resource-heavy applications. As a result, Scaleway now supports over 90% of Geovelo's infrastructure, enabling the platform to serve its 200,000 active users who ride over 700,000 km per month.
