Rocketlane, a delivery and customer-onboarding platform, needed to quickly implement a compliant OAuth 2.1 authentication layer for its new MCP server to allow customers to work from within AI clients like Claude. The challenge was to build this new auth surface without modifying their existing production authentication system, to do it quickly to meet customer demand, and to support data residency for EU customers from the first day.

Using the Scalekit authentication platform, Rocketlane implemented a drop-in OAuth 2.1 solution that required zero changes to its live auth system. Scalekit handled the entire auth handshake, token management, and regional routing. This allowed Rocketlane to ship production-ready MCP authentication in approximately two days, enabling 24 tools across 5 MCP clients with built-in US and EU data residency from launch.
