South Wilts Grammar School Enjoys Secure Mobile Learning Experience with Scalefusion

South Wilts Grammar School, a secondary academy in Salisbury with over 1,000 students, rolled out Novatech nTab Android tablets to enhance learning but lacked the ability to remotely manage devices, restrict non-educational apps, or control students’ web activity on the school Wi‑Fi. Facing device misuse and unsecured internet access, the school selected Scalefusion as its Kiosk Lockdown and Android device management solution.

Scalefusion locked tablets into a custom kiosk mode, enforced an approved app set, provided a whitelist-only Kiosk Browser, and enabled real-time device monitoring, location tracking, and remote wipe. As a result, Scalefusion delivered distraction-free learning, simplified IT management, blocked unauthorized apps and browsing, and allowed the school to locate or wipe lost or stolen devices.
