Scalefocus worked with a leading insurance company in Bulgaria that offers general insurance and health insurance packages through a nationwide network. The company wanted to strengthen its capital position and improve performance while meeting future regulatory requirements, including Solvency II compliance, and needed better asset, risk, and reporting processes.

Scalefocus implemented the IBM Solvency II solution, using SQL Server 2012, IBM Cognos BI, and IBM Cognos DM to automate data handling, reporting, stress testing, and risk measurement. The new system streamlined internal workflows, improved cross-department collaboration, eliminated manual and duplicate tasks, and made reporting 15 to 20 times faster while enhancing overall corporate reliability.
