SEGA, the interactive entertainment company behind franchises like Sonic the Hedgehog and Total War, needed a way to let fans pre-order exclusive collector’s editions and receive Day 1 delivery for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III across North America and Europe. The company also needed a partner that could securely manage highly confidential, embargoed assets and meet an extremely tight launch timeline.
Scalefast built a streamlined landing page with a shopping cart to handle pre-orders and fulfillment for thousands of customers in Europe and North America. The project launched in under three weeks, helping SEGA achieve 90% of sales during the pre-order phase and a conversion rate above 4.5%, and the success led to four additional projects with Scalefast generating several million dollars in revenue.
