Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine - Customer Case Study

Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine needed to replace an ageing, expensive storage environment that could not scale out, lacked replication, and made disaster recovery testing slow and complex. The charity was looking for a simpler, more cost-effective platform, and chose Scale Computing’s HC3 cluster along with a secondary disaster recovery cluster.

Scale Computing implemented the HC3 solution quickly, with the production install up and running in four to five hours. The new environment removed licensing fees, simplified management, added replication for disaster recovery, and delivered cost savings of over £80,000.
