TextNow, a free texting and calling app, faced significant financial losses from mobile ad install fraud in its user acquisition campaigns. Their challenge was a high volume of sophisticated fraud types that were difficult to detect, including Smart Bots and Modified Click Spam, which comprised a large portion of their installs.
