Global Marketing Company, a global leader in loyalty program design and implementation, needed to reduce pressure on its IT team by consolidating disparate systems and moving toward a flexible, long-term virtualized cloud infrastructure. Vendor Scalar Decisions worked with the customer as a strategic IT advisor to plan a converged infrastructure approach that would replace aging equipment and centralize management of IT resources.

Scalar Decisions implemented a VCE Vblock-based platform, then expanded it with EMC Isilon for scale-out NAS storage and EMC XtremeIO all-flash arrays to support performance-intensive workloads. The customer decommissioned old storage and server environments, consolidated into co-located facilities, and simplified operations by managing everything under a single platform, reducing internal IT burden and laying the groundwork for future cloud migration.
