The Feldman Agency, a media and entertainment talent agency, was dealing with an aging, multi-vendor IT environment that caused storage difficulties, network sluggishness, and frequent phone and email outages. Scalar Decisions worked with Feldman to create a scalable, cost-effective five-year IT strategy and address issues with legacy SAN infrastructure, latency, and support complexity.

Scalar Decisions replaced the old hardware with a new reference architecture including VMware 5.5, Windows Server 2012, updated domain services, a 10 GbE Cisco network, and a Nimble storage platform. The result was much faster performance, more reliable connectivity, and far less IT overhead, with Nimble block-level compression delivering 50% data savings and a “single pane of support” reducing management time.
