Canadian Canola Growers Association Expands Capacity with Hyper-Converged System and Scalar Services

Canadian Canola Growers Association (CCGA), a non-profit based in Winnipeg, Canada, needed to replace an aging, inefficient IT infrastructure that was reaching end of life and straining capacity, space, and manageability. CCGA worked with Scalar Decisions to explore a hyper-converged approach that could simplify operations and support future growth.

Scalar Decisions helped CCGA implement a Dell EMC XC Series hyper-converged solution with PowerEdge servers and Nutanix software. The new platform improved redundancy, boosted management, and enabled incremental scaling one node at a time while keeping infrastructure costs such as maintenance, facilities, and power under control. It also provided high availability in the data center and a path toward disaster recovery through cloud expansion.
