ICMoving wanted to create a nationwide airport infotainment network across Italy, but needed a stable, scalable digital signage platform that could manage news, entertainment, and advertising across major airports and many screens. To avoid using a homemade CMS, ICMoving turned to Scala, working with Scala Certified Partner M-Cube and the Scala 5 software system.

Scala and M-Cube implemented the new platform in less than a month with minimal disruption, enabling centralized and local content control across 170 screens in all major Italian airports. The results included 80% fewer malfunctions, faster content updates, easier remote monitoring, and a 100% increase in advertising turnover in 2010 versus 2009.
